Matt returned to RFG as Head of Growth in early 2020. He was subsequently promoted to the position of Head of Retail in November 2020, where he was responsible for driving strong operational outcomes for the Group’s domestic retail franchise networks within a challenging retail environment, including through the COVID-19 pandemic. He has since developed an extensive knowledge of all aspects of RFG’s business and played a vital role in implementing the Company franchisee first and consumer centric values and strategy. In June 2023, the Company announced Matt’s promotion to Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2023, where he will drive the realisation of growth opportunities and sustainable value creation for the Company’s stakeholders. Prior to RFG, Matt worked with a variety of major brands and organisations including Cadbury Schweppes, Asahi, RFG and, more recently, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare. He has held a number of senior commercial roles including Head of Sales, Head of Trade Marketing, Managing Director – Brumby’s Bakery, and General Manager – Commercial Partnerships & Planning.

Rob Shore
Rob is a chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles both domestically and in the United Kingdom. He joined RFG in April 2023 from his most recent role as Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed EML Payments Limited (ASX:EML), where he played a key role in the development and execution of group strategy and led the transformation of their global finance function. Prior to joining EML, Rob held senior finance roles in the Asia Pacific businesses of US listed Valmont Industries Inc (NYSE:VMI).
Mark Connors
Mark joined RFG as Corporate Counsel in July 2004, having previously represented the Company in private practice since 1999. He has since developed his career within RFG’s operations and legal departments, holding positions including Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Mark has held the position as RFG’s Company Secretary since the Company Listed in June 2006. Mark holds a Bachelor of Laws and is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
